Discovery usually begins within two weeks of signature. Squad-based work depends on availability, and we'll tell you honestly if the start date is a month out.
Fixed price when the scope is genuinely fixed, and a monthly squad rate when it isn't. We won't quote a fixed price on a scope we know will move.
You do, from the first commit. Code, source files and documentation transfer to you as the work is delivered.
Every project ends with a handover period. After that you can take it in-house, keep a support retainer, or bring us back for the next phase.
Routinely. We work under client MSAs, security reviews and data-residency requirements, including regulated environments.
Pricing & contracts
No. Scoping calls, ballpark estimates and a written summary of what we think the work involves are all free. We only invoice once a statement of work is signed.
A focused marketing site sits in the low tens of thousands; a platform build with a dedicated squad runs monthly and scales with team size. We give a range at first contact rather than making you wait for a formal proposal.
We prefer it. A four-week discovery or a single thin slice tells both of us far more than a long proposal process, and it's a much cheaper way to find out we're not a fit.
Fixed-scope projects invoice against milestones. Squad engagements invoice monthly in advance. Deposits are credited against the first milestone.
Delivery & timelines
A marketing site is six to ten weeks. A v1 platform or mobile app is usually four to six months. We commit to a date only after discovery, and we hold ourselves to it.
We price the change, tell you the schedule impact, and let you decide. Nothing gets absorbed quietly and reappears later as a delay.
A named delivery lead plus the senior technical or design lead on your project. You have direct access to both, not a account manager relaying messages.
We schedule around your working hours and guarantee at least four hours of overlap with your day, whichever time zone you are in.
Security & ownership
You do, from the first commit. Full IP transfer on delivery, including source files, documentation and infrastructure configuration.
Routinely. We also complete security questionnaires and vendor onboarding, and we hold ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type II.
Yes. EU-only data residency is available on any engagement, and we'll architect for it from the start rather than retrofitting.
All access is provisioned under your accounts, and we revoke our own access at the end of the support window with a written confirmation.
